TAKO MEKVABIDZE
The inspiration of my collection is the Roman goddess of gardens and fertility – Venus. The basis of the collection is a picture of Sandro Botticelli’s “Birth of Venus”.
I have transferred this picture as an image on the fabric, trying to associate it with the theme of my collection of costumes as much as possible.
The colors were picked accordingly: green and light pink tones with fragments of images of fruits, embroidered on organza. Emphasis is put on the subject line.
Materials used: Shells, pearls, Organza, Silk, Cashmere.
