George Keburia is a self-taught designer, born in 1990 Tbilisi, Georgia. He founded his fun-loving eponymous label in 2010, presenting a surrealist collection saturated with fantastical references and outlandish concepts. George Keburia is a successfully operating brand on the local, as well as global fashion market. Its unique design aesthetic represents a modern interpretation of masculinity and femininity by creating raw-provoking silhouettes through an intriguing compilation between menswear and womenswear elements.
Currently, Keburia is working on Autumn/Winter 16/17 collection, which will be presented at the upcoming Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Tbilisi.
George Keburia Autumn Winter 16/17 collection is a modern reflection of 80s transition to 90s, with a strong mood from 80s mixing and blending into 90s style attitude. Effortless and at the same time chic pieces, with sometimes exaggerated shapes and structured stripes, are influenced by sportswear. In his latest collection, George Keburia combines prints and embroidery upon the fabric, adding to the collection’s distinctive appeal. Pieces projecting vibe of modernity stand out in black and brown colors with flashes of pink, green and blue. Combination of light and heavy fabrics manages to further showcase the collections modern and functional appeal.
