ALEKSANDRE AKHALKATSISHVILI – is a Georgian fashion designer and a graduate of the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. In 2015, he gained industry recognition after winning the Be Next Fashion Design Contest, marking the beginning of his professional career. 

That same year, he joined the Georgian brand MATÉRIEL as Head Designer, where he played a key role in shaping its contemporary identity. 

In 2018, Aleksandre launched his eponymous label, debuting with the Fall/Winter 2018/19 collection. The collection received immediate international attention, attracting leading buyers and press, and establishing the designer as one of the most promising voices emerging from the region.

Founded in 2018, ALEKSANDRE AKHALKATSISHVILI is a contemporary womenswear brand rooted in deconstructive minimalism — a philosophy that defines its visual language and approach to design. 

The brand explores the balance between structure and fluidity, combining feminine and masculine elements through clean lines, precise tailoring, and experimental construction. Each piece begins with the garment itself as the core source of inspiration, resulting in collections that feel intentional, cohesive, and refined. 

A strong influence of early 2000s minimalism runs through the collections, reinterpreted with a modern, architectural edge. Vegan leather has become a signature material within the label, reinforcing both its aesthetic and contemporary relevance. 

The result is a distinctive yet highly wearable wardrobe, designed for a modern woman who is confident, self-aware, and unafraid to navigate complexity.
